The International Football Economy Forum (UFEF), which was organized by Turkuvaz Media Group’s flagship daily Sabah Newspaper, and the "Süper Lig Best of the Best Award Ceremony", organized by Turkey's most widely read sports newspaper, Fotomaç, brought the football community together on Oct. 27.
Süper Lig Best of the Best Award Ceremony was held with the participation of Youth and Sports Minister Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, while Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President Nihat Özdemir talked about the developments in the football world at the UFEF.
UFEF started with the opening speech of General Manager of Sabah & Daily Sabah Print Media Advertising and Member of the Executive Board Ceyda Uzman.
In the special session, titled "The Latest Situation in the Football Economy", TFF President Özdemir responded to the questions of Sabah Newspaper columnist Levent Tüzemen.
In the panel, titled "Financial Z-Report of the Süper Lig", Sabah Newspaper Sports Desk Manager Murat Özbostan hosted Ahmet Ağaoğlu, the President of the Clubs Association.
Best of the Best of Süper Lig received their awards.
Organized by Fotomaç, Turkey's most widely read sports newspaper, the award ceremony started with the speech of Yasemin Gebeş, General Manager of Turkuvaz Magazine Group and Member of the Executive Board of Printed Media.
At the ceremony, Youth Minister Kasapoğlu delivered important remarks.
After the speech of Fotomaç Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Zeki Uzundurukan, the “Süper Lig Best of the Best” awards were delivered in three different categories: 'The Best Süper Lig in the 2020-2021 Season’, 'Oscars of the Season' and 'Special Award'.
During the ceremony, Turkuvaz Media Honor Award, Fotomaç Special Award, Outstanding Service to Turkish Football Award, Ziraat Turkey Cup Honor Award, Those Who Wave Our Flag, and Special Award prizes were presented to the recipients.
At the ceremony, where important names from the sports world attended, the nominees for Team of the Year, Coach of the Year and Club President of the Year received their awards in the "Oscars of the Season" category.
Süper Lig Best of the Best awards were presented under the following headings: Coach who made a difference in Turkish Football, Midfielder of the Year, Striker of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, Most Valuable Turkish Football Player of the Year, Most Valuable Foreign Footballer of the Year, Defense Player of the Year, Joker of the Year and Wing Player of the Year.
The award ceremony was also watched live on Ufef.org, Sabah TV, Fotomaç TV and Fotomaç, Sabah Newspaper and A Spor YouTube channels.
